Lead Store Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
• Coach team to deliver exceptional service
• Drive consultative selling and upselling strategies
• Foster a culture of loyalty and capture customer insights
• Support team in resolving customer concerns
• Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
• Verify customer IDs and maintain accurate POS profiles
• Ensure inventory integrity and maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready store environment
• Achieve daily KPI goals and stay informed on promotions and product updates
• Guide and support store associates in daily operations and provide real-time coaching and feedback

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
• Minimum of 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Familiarity with retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and loss prevention practices
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
