Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide the team in a retail store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to coach and motivate others. The Lead Store Associate will be responsible for driving performance, maintaining a compliant and high-performing retail store environment, and ensuring a welcoming and inclusive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
Coach team members to deliver exceptional service
Drive consultative selling and upselling strategies
Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
Maintain inventory integrity and ensure accurate transaction processing
Lead inventory counts and participate in overnight audits
Train new hires and conduct ongoing training sessions
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive team performance

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
Minimum 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Familiarity with retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and loss prevention practices
