Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide their team in a retail store environment. As a key player in retail operations, the Lead Store Associate will serve as a brand ambassador, drive performance, and help shape a welcoming and high-performing store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and team-building skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example to create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
Coach the team to deliver exceptional service and build meaningful customer relationships
Drive consultative selling and upselling strategies to achieve daily KPI goals
Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
Maintain a clean and organized store environment and uphold compliance with SOPs and safety protocols
Guide and support store associates in daily operations and provide real-time coaching and feedback
Train new hires and conduct ongoing training sessions

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
Minimum of 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
Minimum of 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-volume, compliance-driven setting
