Lead Store Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
• Coach team members to deliver exceptional service and build meaningful customer relationships
• Drive consultative selling and upselling strategies to achieve daily KPI goals
• Execute opening and closing duties, including daily huddles and cash reconciliation
• Maintain inventory integrity through precise transaction processing and order fulfillment
• Lead inventory counts and participate in overnight audits
• Uphold compliance with standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and state regulations
• Guide and support store associates in daily operations and provide real-time coaching and feedback

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
• Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to coach and motivate others
• Familiarity with retail standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and loss prevention practices
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
