Job Description

Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences and guide a team of store associates in a retail store environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and leadership, with experience in a retail or customer-facing role. The Lead Store Associate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and compliant store environment, driving sales performance, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers
Coach and develop a team of store associates to deliver exceptional customer service
Drive sales performance through consultative selling and upselling strategies
Maintain accurate inventory and execute opening and closing duties
Uphold compliance with standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and state regulations
Lead by example in customer service and operational excellence
Train new hires and conduct ongoing training sessions
Provide real-time coaching and feedback to drive team performance

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
Minimum 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
Minimum 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
Strong leadership and team-building skills
Familiarity with retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and loss prevention practices
Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
