Lead Retail Sales Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Advise customers on cannabis products and provide exceptional customer service
• Lead and manage a team of hourly employees, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and coaching
• Ensure adherence to state and company rules and regulations
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments
• Maintain accurate records of all dispensary activities, including customer records, sales, and inventory
• Perform cash handling and point-of-sale duties, including operating a cash register and handling customer transactions
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate problems to management as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the cannabis industry
• Flexibility to work shifts that may include opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to engage with customers
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and product-related information in a professional consultative manner
• Ability to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance)
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
