Lead Production Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Packaging Technicians in daily production tasks
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Drive production metrics and manage shift performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment or process issues
• Train, coach, and support team members to uphold SOPs, GMP, and safety best practices
• Partner with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and workflow goals
• Support sanitation, biosecurity, and workplace safety initiatives
• Conduct quality checks throughout the process

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring a team in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
• Clear and calm communication skills with strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to follow production plans, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet deadlines
• Mechanical mindset with the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• Comfort working with weights, measurements, and equipment calibration
• Dependable, honest, and collaborative approach that supports team success
• Proactive work ethic and willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
