Lead Production Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Packaging Technicians in daily production tasks
• Maintain proficiency in all filling and packaging tasks
• Manage daily production performance from startup through shutdown
• Ensure accurate data entry, batch documentation, and compliant product tracking
• Troubleshoot routine equipment or process issues
• Train, coach, and support team members
• Conduct in-process quality checks
• Maintain clear, timely inventory of all materials and finished goods

Requirements

• Experience leading or mentoring a production or manufacturing team
• At least 6 months of hands-on filling and packaging experience
• Clear, calm communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow production plans, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet daily output goals
• Mechanical mindset with the ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
