Lead Courier

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist management and the fulfillment team with scheduling, prioritizing, and routing for maximum efficiency
• Assist with coordinating assignments and projects with the appropriate personnel and provide on-site direction to crews when needed
• Assist and coordinate with the courier team to arrange basic vehicle maintenance and repairs of all delivery vehicles
• Assist with training new courier staff as needed
• Provide secure product delivery from cultivation facilities to off-site locations
• Assist with packaging deliveries and checking them against the order form
• Ensure product is properly secured prior to delivery
• Accurately file and maintain manifests and cash transaction logs, after each delivery
• Ensure compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product delivery
• Cross train and provide coverage in the warehousing, processing, and cultivation departments, as business needs require

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D at a minimum
• State law requires that all applicants be 21 years old to work for a cultivation center
• Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check
• Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history
• Maintain a current driver’s license and good driving record
• Confident navigating by using maps and GPS
• Ability to sit for long periods of time and get in and out of an automobile several times a day
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, carry product, totes, and push carts
• Proficient in basic computer skills
• Steady employment history
