Laboratory Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures for the daily operation of the lab
• Perform stripping, grinding, and decarboxylation of cannabis materials
• Perform CO2 and butane extraction of cannabis materials
• Perform post-extraction processes
• Production of infused products
• Maintain a detailed log of procedures and results
• Examine product samples during production to evaluate quality, color, and texture
• Perform necessary equipment maintenance and safety checks

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass all background check and licensing requirements
• Laboratory experience
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Prior experience in a cannabis production lab
