Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Kitchen Tech I's through the execution of daily tasks vital to the production of high-quality medicine
• Disseminate information to the team, provide regular technical support, and report status updates to the Kitchen Manager
• Lead the Kitchen Team in various processes, including producing, labeling, and packaging cannabis infused edibles
• Accurately record data using the Company system and protocols
• Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and quality of product produced
• Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe work environment
• Compliantly clean and sanitize the kitchen area as assigned by management
• Provide input and support as necessary for new production creation and recipes
• Meet daily goals, kitchen objectives, and KPIs set by management
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen, food services, or related experience required
• Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred
• Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred
• Food Handlers/ServSafe certificate preferred
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be of the minimum age required by state regulations
• Ability to pass state mandated background check(s)
• Ability to complete and pass Food Handlers/ServSafe certification
