Kitchen Technician ( Cannabis Industry)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for various processes, including baking, labeling, and packaging cannabis infused edibles by hand or machine
• Accurately records data on using Company system and protocols
• Adhere to specific quality control SOPs regarding procedural operations and quality of product produced
• Maintains a clean, compliant, and safe work environment
• Compliantly clean and sanitize kitchen area as assigned by management
• Provides input and support as necessary for new production creation and recipes
• Meets daily goals, kitchen objectives, and KPIs set by management
• Assists with other tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1-2 years of kitchen, food services, or related experience required
• Experience producing candies, chocolates, cookies, brownies, and other baked goods preferred
• Familiarity with marijuana, medical, health, and/or sanitation regulations preferred
• Food Handlers/ServSafe certificate preferred
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary focus and attention to detail
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
