Junior Laboratory Extraction Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out duties involving extraction of crude oil
• Operate and maintain equipment for grinding, hydrocarbon and supercritical CO2 extraction
• Maintain a clean lab, including infrastructure and equipment
• Assist the extraction team with preparation of materials for the day's extractions
• Assist in the formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line
• Assist the filling line staff in preparation and tear down of equipment
• Assist packaging and other departments as needed
• Accurate data entry and inventory

Requirements

• Must be able to pass state-mandated background checks
• High school diploma required
• Prior laboratory experience preferred, though not required
