Junior Laboratory Extraction Technician 1 Weekends

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform efficient set up/tear down, manufacture and cleaning of all equipment and processes associated with manufacturing operations
• Carry out duties involving extraction of crude oil, including operating and maintaining equipment for grinding, hydrocarbon and supercritical CO2 extraction
• Maintain a clean lab, including infrastructure and equipment
• Assist the extraction team with preparation of materials for the day's extractions as well as helping to tear down, turn around, and set back up extraction equipment as needed
• Accurate data entry and inventory
• Assist in the formulation of final products before they are sent to the filling line as needed
• Assist filling line staff in preparation and tear down of equipment as needed
• Assist packaging and other departments as needed

Requirements

• Must be able to pass state-mandated background checks
• High school diploma required
• Prior laboratory experience preferred, though not required
