IPM Scout Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and legible logging of paperwork and labels
• Scout for molds, mildews, pests, and abnormal plant morphologies
• Enter collected data in Google Sheets and Excel, send reports as needed
• Maintain biological insect program by distributing beneficial insects, breeding sachets, and sticky cards
• Cleaning and maintaining all areas, equipment, and material throughout the cultivation
• Supporting the Leads and Supervisor of IPM to guide and train IPM department members
• Contribute to instructed cleaning, sanitizing, and organization in the cultivation
• Follow all instructed state and federal compliance regulations

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred
• Ability to consistently meet productivity and performance requirements
• High attention to detail
• Professional and respectful demeanor towards others
• Respectful verbal and written communication capability
• Knowledge and background in cannabis cultivation required
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity)
