Job Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for compliant receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of their assigned vault, and assists with our internal audit process by tracking, investigating, and resolving variances.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the receipt and transfer of cannabis product in and out of vault and/or facility
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using a computerized system
  • Complete required data entry (logging transactions, transfers, and daily intake/outgoing product) using Excel and state electronic recordkeeping systems to maintain compliance
  • Execute package conversions (splits) to support allocation plans as needed
  • Perform order fulfillment
  • Perform regular cycle counts, internal audits, and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain accurate inventories, manifests, documentation, and reports
  • Maintain accurate labeling of all items, SRPs, and batches
  • Compliant with Company SOPs and state regulations
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Follow applicable safety procedures by wearing appropriate PPE, and reporting injuries, near misses, and hazards to management

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in an inventory or compliance role required; cannabis industry experience preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
