Inventory Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile plant inventory from clone to harvest, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Track plant movements, growth stages, waste, and harvest data in both ERP systems and Excel-based logs
• Perform daily/weekly physical plant counts and reconcile any variances
• Monitor inventory integrity and proactively identify discrepancies or data gaps
• Collaborate with cultivation staff to document plant events, transfers, and environmental conditions
• Assist with harvest preparation, documentation, and post-harvest inventory updates
• Generate inventory reports, spreadsheets, and dashboards to support cultivation and compliance teams
• Ensure all inventory processes meet state/local cannabis regulations and company SOPs

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Able to identify common issues with processed cannabis flower, and assess quality
• Excellent computer and mathematics skills, data analysis; experience working in Microsoft Excel required
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills
• Able to take initiative and self-manage with limited direction from leadership
• Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
• Comfortable learning new technologies
• Aptitude for problem solving and troubleshooting and ability to provide well thought out recommendations
• Excellent attention to detail
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Safety and compliance focused
• Must be able to individually lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for long periods of time
• Must have and be able to maintain a valid driver’s license
