Inventory Coordinator

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory counts and post totals to inventory records
• Compare inventories to office records and compute figures from sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices
• Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjust errors
• Compile information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies
• Prepare reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages
• Stock and issue materials or merchandise
• Provide training and guidance to new team members

Requirements

• Analytical skills to synthesize complex or diverse information
• Ability to collect and research data
• Experience with inventory management
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to follow policies and procedures
