Inventory Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory logs for final product, works in progress, returned items, consumables, excipients, and all other materials required by the manufacturing facility
• Manage finished goods inventory control, including tracking inventory levels, ensuring accurate counts, and reconciling any discrepancies
• Coordinate ordering and tracking of raw materials and supplies to ensure timely and accurate delivery and availability
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with all regulations and accuracy of inventory levels
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of inventory management
• Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory items to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss
• Confirm delivered goods match purchase order documentation
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory levels
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and execution of inventory-related tasks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field required; experience in a cannabis company preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and inventory management software
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of cannabis industry-specific regulations, including seed-to-sale tracking requirements, is highly desirable
• Experience with ERP systems or inventory management software is preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
