Job Description

The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking shipments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment. This role will be based in New Buffalo, MI, and will play a critical part in supporting the overall operations of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate inventory levels and track inventory movements
Receive and verify shipments against purchase orders
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies
Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems
Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
1-2 years of inventory management experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management software
