HVAC Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems
• Monitor and adjust climate controls to ensure ideal temperature, humidity, and air circulation levels
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC-related problems to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and prevent breakdowns
• Ensure compliance with state and local cannabis industry regulations for climate control, air filtration, odor mitigation, and EPA refrigerant handling guidelines
• Support energy efficiency efforts to optimize system performance and reduce operating costs
• Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports
• Collaborate with cultivation, processing, and retail teams to meet facility climate requirements

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school certification or 1-2 years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance
• EPA 608 Universal certification
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, dehumidification, and ventilation
• Understanding of climate control for indoor cultivation, with expertise in temperature and humidity management
