Harvest Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Learning and following company harvest practices
• Ensuring daily compliance with policies including state compliance, security protocols, and company SOPs
• Assisting with harvesting of plants, including fan leaf removal, plucking, breaking down, trimming, and shucking
• Maintaining organization while harvesting multiple strains and batches
• Weighing, recording, and labeling post-harvest materials and managing cultivation waste
• Visually inspecting plants for diseases, insects, and mold, and reporting concerns to management
• Maintaining accurate records of product harvested to ensure proper product identification and quality control
• Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of production area
• Performing general cleaning duties and sanitizing rooms and equipment

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check to obtain a Department of Agriculture Agent Card
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in a general production or manufacturing position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
