Job Description

The Field Sales Representative role at PTS is responsible for accelerating and normalizing the American transition to mainstream cannabis consumption by aiding the sales team in maintaining and expanding customer relations. The successful candidate will work directly with the sales and marketing departments as a customer-facing advocate to ensure expansion and visibility in the marketplace. The role involves driving revenue and growing market share in a defined territory, increasing brand awareness and loyalty, and building and maintaining relationships with customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Drive revenue and grow the market share in a defined territory
Increase brand awareness and loyalty
Travel to dispensaries within assigned territory to attend/host scheduled in-store pop-ups and other industry events
Provide location-driven product education to customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors
Become an expert on PTS products, use, and inventory
Deliver samples and marketing materials to designated locations
Manage all visual merchandising displays within dispensaries
Track customer preferences, metrics, and media campaigns
Use customer relationship management software to log all communication and record vital account and contact information
Maintain expert industry knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks
Provide exceptional customer service by staying on top of pending requests and communicating with the appropriate departments
Work closely and collaboratively with the Sales Leadership Team and territory partners to develop and deliver an appropriate, relevant, and effective narrative for prospect and client communications

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older
Valid Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
2+ years of Customer Service, Marketing, or Sales experience
Associate's degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of cannabis and cannabis products
Ability to work quickly and independently in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated with strong communication and organization skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Creative problem-solving skills and a commitment to preparation, presentation, and follow-up
Demonstrated success working collaboratively across different teams or departments
Capacity to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate patience, and remain calm in stressful situations
