Facility Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee building inspections, procuring bids, building operations, leasing, and projects as needed
• Delegate tasks and put together work lists for Facility Maintenance Technicians
• Develop a schedule for regular inspection of HVAC, doors, interior/exterior lighting, roof, and general premises
• Maintain building systems, including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety, and building security
• Direct Facility Maintenance Technicians in repairing mechanical equipment
• Responsible for the upkeep of maintenance performance log
• Perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks as required
• Maintain landscaping and snowplow vendors, HVAC contractors, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors
• Maintain an inventory list for janitorial, mechanical, and electrical supplies
• Move equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required
• Monitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial building maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in a supervisory position preferred
• Ability to read machine prints and assign duties to Facility Maintenance Technicians
• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with teammates
• Previous experience in installation of piping systems, industrial electrical installations, and control circuits
• Relevant technical knowledge and HVAC certification (preferred)
• Experience in a production environment using mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trouble-shooting skills
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply
