Facilities Supervisor (Plumbing)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, replaces, and repairs the facility's plumbing and fertigation systems
• Monitors, records, and performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing, irrigation, and fertigation equipment
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs plumbing issues
• Submits all approved maintenance and repairs through the company's ticketing process
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
• Leads and encourages effective communication amongst the Facilities team
• Partners with Managers and Human Resources for talent selection, onboarding, and talent development
• Complies with NJ regulations, building codes, and safety standards
• Responds to potential emergency plumbing issues
• Collaborates with external suppliers on approved major repairs, renovation, and/or new construction projects
• Provides support to other departments as well as facility cleaning and light maintenance

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a plumbing apprentice program or relevant trade license(s) preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repairs
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance procedures, techniques, and industry best practices
• Ability to read, write, and understand instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
