Facilities and Maintenance Technician II

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture and follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and site-specific protocols
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems including plumbing, lighting, doors, structural elements, and grounds
• Perform routine maintenance such as painting, carpentry repairs, patching, and equipment upkeep
• Diagnose and repair pumps, motors, fans, and mechanical components
• Perform basic electrical work including replacing fixtures, outlets, switches, and circuit troubleshooting under supervision
• Perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and intermediate repairs on HVAC systems
• Execute preventive maintenance schedules and document all work performed
• Maintain clean maintenance shops, storage rooms, and workspaces
• Assist other departments with maintenance-related needs as requested

Requirements

• 3+ years of facility, industrial, or commercial maintenance experience preferred
• Experience in one or more trades: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC
• Experience in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment preferred
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, lifts, and maintenance equipment safely
• CMMS experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Technical training, trade school, or certifications in maintenance-related fields preferred
