Extraction Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures work tasks are executed per Standard Work with a high degree of Safety, Quality, Accuracy, and Regulatory Compliance
• Operates multiple pieces of equipment for different processes and inputs data for production logs and batch production records
• Maintains a continual supply of properly measured biomass-filled extraction socks to the BHO extractor
• Maintains all lab equipment and operates various machines for extraction
• Tracks production and produces various forms of concentrates
• Retrieves and properly disposes of spent biomass from each station
• Observes and monitors equipment operation during the extraction process to detect problems

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills and a mechanically oriented mindset
• Knowledge of basic MS Office and METRC, with LeafLogix being a plus
• Efficient cultivation/production work ethic with application of Lean tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to hold themselves and others accountable to Standards of Work
• Solid communication and documentation skills
• Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and work in a wide range of temperature conditions
