Extraction Lab Technician for Cannabis Industry

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Use a variety of techniques to extract and refine the medicinal components of the Cannabis plant
• Follow and maintain inventory tracking systems and utilize proper forms to track and log all extraction inputs and finished extraction products
• Collect samples to submit for analytical testing
• Clean and maintain all lab equipment and notify lead of issues
• Proper usage, maintenance and storage of all lab tools, equipment and material
• Follow policies & procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with Ohio’s medical marijuana regulations
• Assist in completing other secondary production/processing tasks at the discretion of the Extraction Manager

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or a related field preferred
• Knowledge of various extraction and refinement methods preferred
• Lab experience
• Ability to follow directions with the utmost precision and accuracy
• Positive attitude in the work environment
