Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van or box truck to deliver products throughout the assigned state and in all weather conditions
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and complete the DVIR log
• Adhere to road rules and DOT regulations at all times
• Protect company assets by following established cash handling guidelines
• Promptly address delivery or customer concerns, reporting them to the Distribution Supervisor
• Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are in order before departure
• Communicate effectively with customers, including pre-delivery calls and post-delivery updates
• Collaborate with the Distribution and Sales teams to resolve any order-related issues
• Provide exceptional customer service during each delivery
• Review orders with customers to ensure product accuracy and handle any rejections
• Accurately record customer payment details for each delivery
• Follow safety standards and report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor
• Ensure all delivery manifests are signed, and compliance with regulations is maintained

Requirements

• Must have an in-state valid driver's license with a clean driving record and valid insurance
• Must regularly provide proof of these documents
• Positive and professional attitude with a strong sense of teamwork
• High level of integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency
• Ability to safely operate a delivery vehicle in various weather and traffic conditions
• Reliability and punctuality are critical to the role
• Ability to learn and use new technology as needed
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• 1+ year of professional driving experience with box truck operation required
