Job Description

GTI is seeking a Dispensary Technician to provide superior customer service and maintain the clean and orderly appearance of the dispensary area. The ideal candidate will have a pharmacy technician license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Dispensary Technician will assist the General Manager with various tasks, including processing orders, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Abide by and file all required records for controlled substances according to State Agency regulations
Accurate prescription entry into pharmacy software and proper labeling of dispensable product
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Restock and proper storage of marijuana products in an organized manner
Answer phone calls in a timely manner
Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Current Pharmacy Technician License
Must be 21 years or older
Must pass all required background checks including state specific cannabis employment requirements
Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Requires open availability
