Director of Business Operations

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own the design, rollout, and continuous improvement of core cross-functional business processes
• Identify operational inefficiencies across Finance and Accounting, Product & Engineering, HR, and Business Development
• Serve as a central point of accountability for complex, multi-stakeholder operational projects
• Develop and maintain clear documentation and SOPs for new and evolving processes
• Partner with Finance to define, track, and operationalize key metrics
• Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting and other departments to design workflows
• Lead operational planning and execution for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
• Directly manage and mentor the Finance Operations Data Analyst

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in business operations, finance operations, consulting, analytics, or related roles
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with SQL, data warehouses, and BI tools
• Experience implementing or overseeing workflow automation and low-code tools
