Cultivation Technician II

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and oversee daily feeding and care schedules, identifying and addressing inconsistencies or issues promptly
• Lead by example in pruning and repotting crops, ensuring uniformity, accuracy, and adherence to best practices
• Proactively monitor plants for pests, deficiencies, or irregularities and implement corrective measures in collaboration with the Cultivation leadership team
• Provide harvest and post-harvest support including harvesting, and the dry, cure, and trim processes as needed
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of nutrient mixes, equipment maintenance, and crop-related activities
• Assist Cultivation leadership in planning and coordinating inventory audits, reconciling discrepancies, and optimizing resource allocation
• Proactively monitor the maintenance and cleaning of all cultivation department equipment and tools
• Serve as a liaison to the inventory and fulfillment department, ensuring seamless plant tracking and compliance with seed-to-sale requirements
• Act as a mentor to Cultivation Technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to promote skill development, and consistency

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field
• Exceptional attention to detail, with advanced organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to lead by example and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coach and guide colleagues
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to pass state mandated background check(s)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Skilled in navigating and accurately utilizing the company’s seed-to-sale tracking software (where applicable)
