Cultivation Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert care and maintenance to grow healthy, strong cannabis plants
• Perform tasks such as topping, bottoming, transplanting, defoliating, and training plants
• Tend to grow types of media and scout for disease or potential insects
• Adhere to national grow model and standards
• Prepare room for harvest, harvest and take down plants, defoliate and break plants into smaller pieces, and hang plants on dry rack
• Clean both dry and flower rooms in between harvests
• Maintain and clean plant housing devices, plant tables, and plant pots
• Report any issues to management to ensure a timely fix

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Associate degree or certifications preferred
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must possess valid state ID
• Must be able to obtain, and maintain, state badging requirements in order to work in the cannabis industry
• Ability to work in an environment that is 85+ degrees and 70% humidity for extended periods
• Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds with extreme care and caution when working with product
