Cultivation Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Plant life topping, bottoming, transplanting, and defoliating
• Tending to grow types of media
• Scouting for disease or potential insects
• Training plants
• Adhering to national grow model and standards
• Preparing room for harvest
• Harvesting and taking down plants
• Defoliating and breaking plants into smaller pieces
• Hanging plants on dry rack
• Cleaning both dry and flower rooms in between harvests
• Sanitation, sweeping, mopping, and other required cleaning
• Maintenance and cleaning of plant housing devices, tables, and pots
• Reporting any issues to management

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Associate degree or certifications preferred
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must possess valid state ID
• Must be able to obtain and maintain state badging requirements
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
• Ability to work in an environment that is 85+ degrees and 70% humidity for extended periods
