Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to all aspects of plant production including propagation, watering, pruning, trellising, defoliating, monitoring, and harvesting of plants
• Implement daily feeding and care schedule as directed by Cultivation Manager
• Maintain consistency and discretion when pruning crops at various stages
• Maintain consistency, uniformity, and accuracy when repotting crops at various stages
• Perform routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and report findings to Cultivation Lead
• Maintain accurate records of reservoirs, equipment, and other crop-related logs assigned by Cultivation Lead
• Properly use, maintain, and store all tools and equipment
• Complete daily and periodic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in horticulture, agriculture, biology, chemistry, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in horticulture, botany, or related field preferred
• Knowledge of basic computer and office equipment operations
• Math skills required for inventory, projections, and excellent time-management skills
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize, maintain confidentiality, and work effectively as part of a team
