Cultivation Associate

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Work with cultivation leadership to plan for growing activities
• Prepare space required for planned production
• Clone, cut, root, and transplant plants
• Monitor growing conditions and review changes in humidity, moisture, and temperature
• Inspect crop to ascertain conditions and remove substandard or diseased plants
• Monitor and care for plants during vegetative and flowering phase
• Harvest, trim, and cure plants
• Operate and maintain cultivation systems/equipment
• Ensure daily compliance with policies and procedures

Requirements

• A green thumb, a passion for working with plants, and experience with harvesting plants
• Ability to work well with other employees in a fast-paced team environment
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to learn and execute techniques consistent with company best practices
• Previous landscaping, horticulture, or agriculture experience is a plus
• Strong knowledge of weights and measurements
