Assistant Dispensary Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks with physical inventory including order fulfillment, delivery intake, monitoring aging inventory, destruction oversight, reconciliations, and inventory discrepancies
• Authorize product returns and assist with product recall processes
• Assist with the creation of promotion development and manage the daily menu based on current inventory
• Assist the Dispensary manager with required daily/monthly audits and manage daily sales operations
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education and oversee vendors and visitors
• Assist with facilitating patient education events, resolve patient concerns/requests, and assist with staff conflict/coaching
• Assist with employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding, and follow up on general building maintenance

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent, bachelor's preferred
• 1-2 years previous management experience
• Cash management and inventory control skills
• Familiarity with varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required
• Computer skills necessary for running day-to-day operations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
• Must be 21 years of age and in compliance with federal law
• Must complete a State/Federal background check and fingerprinting
