Assistant Dispensary Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with tasks related to physical inventory, including order fulfillment, delivery intake, and monitoring aging inventory
• Authorize product returns and assist with product recall processes
• Assist with the creation of promotion development and managing the daily menu based on current inventory
• Assist the Dispensary manager with required daily/monthly audits
• Manage daily sales operations, including cash reconciliation, sales reporting, and access inventory audits
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines regarding patient interactions/education
• Oversight of vendors and visitors
• Assist with facilitating patient education events and resolving patient concerns/requests
• Assist with staff conflict/coaching, employee scheduling, recruiting, and onboarding
• Follow up on general building maintenance

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent, bachelor's preferred
• 1-2 years of previous management experience
• Cash management and inventory control skills
• Familiarity with varieties of medical marijuana preferred but not required
• Computer skills necessary for running day-to-day operations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical conduct
• Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills
• Must be 21 years of age and in compliance with federal law
• Must complete a State/Federal background check and fingerprinting
