Assistant Cultivation Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Executes the IPM plan by regularly inspecting each cultivation room to chart progress and identify problems early on
• Implements daily feed and care schedules as directed by Cultivation Management
• Coordinates with the team to ensure consistency and discretion when crop pruning at various stages
• Accurately maintains reports on all cultivation activities
• Coordinates with the Cultivation management team to ensure that propagation activities meet inventory requirements
• Conducts routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and reporting findings to Cultivation Manager
• Ensures that all cultivation equipment and supplies are on hand and ready for use
• Monitors and documents daily: temperatures, humidity levels, pH, and any other metrics identified by the Cultivation Management team
• Participates in regular audits
• Participates in cultivation planning activities such as calendar layouts, propagation planning, analysis, and any other planning activities deemed necessary for the proper function of the business

Requirements

• Ability to assist the Cultivation Manager with the cultivation team
• Ability to guide Cultivation Team Leads and Technicians through daily tasks
• Ability to disseminate information and provide regular supervision of Cultivation Technicians
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
• Ability to coordinate with the team to ensure consistency in cultivation activities
• Ability to identify plant health issues and execute corrective actions
• Functional knowledge of company software platforms
