Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Assistant Controller in driving the Month-End Close process for multiple entities
• Prepare and/or review journal entries and accruals
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all assigned accounts, databases, and files
• Collaborate with the accounting team to design and implement processes that establish controls and accountability
• Work closely with accounts payable department, purchasing department, and inventory management stakeholders
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Respond timely to inquiries from external and internal customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business or accounting
• CPA or CPA Candidate preferred
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Public accounting experience and corporate accounting experience preferred
• Manufacturing and/or Retail experience preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience working in a highly computerized environment and processing financial transactions using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and/or accounting software
