Job Description

The Account Manager drives client growth and satisfaction with Weedmaps. The Account Manager will be measured on their success in driving revenue through identifying opportunities and optimizations, heading off and minimizing churn, and driving billing collection efforts. The Account Manager will manage a book of business to meet and exceed revenue and retention goals, provide insights and recommendations to clients on how to grow their business with Weedmaps marketing solutions, and collaborate with assigned Account Executive(s) on the best path to drive more value for shared clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business to meet and exceed revenue and retention goals
  • Provide insights and recommendations to clients on how to grow their business with Weedmaps marketing solutions
  • Collaborate with assigned Account Executive(s) on the best path to drive more value for shared clients
  • Increase the client’s proficiency and usage of the Weedmaps platform through training
  • Conduct regular business reviews, sales presentations, product demonstrations
  • Act as the steward of the client data hygiene by updating and maintaining the CRM
  • Communicate billing updates proactively to drive collection efforts as necessary
  • Relay feedback from clients to improve our products and process to increase client success

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in digital sales or account management
  • Proven track record of hitting goals and revenue targets
  • Data-oriented, analytical sales approach
  • Customer-centric and an eager relationship builder
  • Confidence in presenting to clients to influence credibly and effectively
  • Comfort with and ability to operate at an accelerated, iterative pace in a dynamic environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with a clear attention to detail and process oriented
