Job Description

Cresco Labs is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales growth within a defined territory in Kentucky. The Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining positive business relationships, identifying and engaging prospective customers, and supporting the closing of new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience, preferably in the cannabis or alcohol industry, and a strong understanding of the market and customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow sales within the assigned territory by building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Identify and engage prospective customers, manage leads through the sales pipeline, and support the closing of new business opportunities
  • Contribute to the achievement of monthly revenue and profitability targets by supporting account planning and goal setting
  • Manage day-to-day customer interactions, including order processing, issue resolution, and CRM documentation
  • Support key performance indicators (KPIs) such as increased product distribution, re-order frequency, and successful execution of new product introductions
  • Share feedback and insights on the effectiveness of promotional programs and marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including national accounts and marketing, to support sales goals and drive portfolio performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the cannabis or alcohol industry
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record and own transportation
  • Ability to travel throughout Kentucky
  • High level of integrity, self-starting, good time management, and sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated and performance-driven with strong organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proficiency with MS Office in a Windows environment and familiarity with sales tracking and reporting software
