Job description

The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for a wide range of responsibilities in Cresco’s supply chain, including the overall direction of outbound activities to internal customers as well as final mile distribution. A strong understanding of transportation management systems, and fleet management strategies are crucial to success in this role. Additionally, experience supporting multiple aspects of a supply chain are necessary, including a clear understanding of sales and operations planning through customer demand and how to adjust throughout the chain to gain efficiencies and positively impact revenue. This position will be responsible for analyzing output from that sales and operation planning process to drive the distribution network across our expanding enterprise.

This role has a strong emphasis on communicating effectively and to ensure product is delivered safely, compliantly, and on time. There will be continuous communication with site and state operational leaders. Strong customer relationship management skills are necessary to cultivate and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders. This position will be a champion for the distribution process in the and will promote problem solving at the point of impact. The role requires ownership of discovery, interpretation, and communication of meaningful patterns in the data.

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Develop distribution plans and schedules to meet demand from customer sales orders and forecasted requirements within the stated capacity through the manufacturing resources.
• Leads the fleet procurement planning process communicating with sourcing teammates, logistics managers, and other site leadership to ensure plans meet all P&L commitments.
• Ability to evaluate operational plans, identify contingency plans, and initiate countermeasures (i.e. alternative resources) to insure maximum throughput and delivery performance.
• Coaching and mentoring abilities are necessary to aid in the development of supply chain analysts and site level leaders.
• Establish and maintain the appropriate logistics strategy for each market while simultaneously considering the production and expansion goals to ID risk to revenue.
• Manage and monitor vendors to ensure the fleet enables safe and timely delivery capabilities.
• Balance assets across the network as necessary based on analysis of vehicle health, equitable usage, and total cost of ownership.
• Review key metrics in delivery performance, inventory turns, throughput time, (etc.) and initiate counter-measures to improve trends where appropriate.
• Partner with the materials management and sourcing teams to add value and cross functional collaboration.
• Strong supply chain acumen understanding of production metrics necessary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field preferred. High School Diploma required.
• 3-5 years of supply chain experience in an industrial manufacturing environment required.
• Successful candidate will have previous experience working transportation and warehouse management systems, as well as data analytics tools such as Tableau.
• Ability to multi-task to balance the day-to-day business requirements along with driving continuous improvement activities.
• Ability to anticipate and prevent problems before they occur and proactively address issues.
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong problem solving, analytical and computer skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
