VP of Marketing
The Marketing Manager assists with the company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness. The Marketing Manager provides important input regarding advertisement campaigns, social media content, and other brand-building activities.The responsibilities include collaborating on an overall marketing plan, reviewing campaigns, and measuring the return on investment of various advertising methods. The Marketing Manager will work closely with NOBO’s agency partners to execute marketing opportunities. The Marketing Manager will also play a significant role in day to day marketing activities including SMS and email marketing, social media and other channel specific marketing.
Bachelors degree in Marketing or Business preferred
3+ years B2B and B2C product marketing experience
Experience with industry associations relevant to advertising research such as the ARF, ANA, IAB, 4As, MMA, i-com etc
1-3 years of experience in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Paid Search (PPC).
Google Ads certification.
Highly skilled with Google Analytics, Bing Analytics and other web analytics tools.

Duties and Expectations
Review current local marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
Research competitors to stay current with similar products, services, and prices on the market
Work with the wholesale team to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new wholesale customers
Collaborate with the VP of Marketing regarding the budget and how to maximize marketing spend
Drive social media engagement including calendaring, content and message creation. Work with influencers to drive organic traffic
Create and maintain a content library for use across multiple platforms
Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards
Work on design standards for the dispensaries to create a welcoming and appealing environment
Work on development, ordering and tracking of promotional materials and sales material
Work with NOBO’s wholesale team to develop marketing materials and overall support of their initiatives
Partner with local and statewide businesses regarding charitable donations and co-promotions
Media Relations - work with VP of Marketing to handle media releases, interviews, relevant publications, tv, and radio interviews
Work with dispensary GMs to create promotions and assist in local marketing efforts
Collaborate company-wide to create events that promote the NOBO brand and products
Act as a liaison between vendors and the company to track deliverables
This position is based in Benton Harbor, MI. Travel to the NOBO retail locations will be required.
