Job description
Cloud Cannabis is seeking an exceptional IT System Administrator to oversee the Cloud day-to-day operations, administration and management of technology for Cloud Cannabis. This individual will support all aspects of technology throughout the organization and be the point of contact for all technology vendors.
Challenges You will Tackle:
- This individual will oversee the installation, setup, configuration and upgrading of all software and hardware
- Monitoring to ensure systems are running smoothly and efficiently
- Design and plan systems for new locations
- Field incoming IT service calls
- Communicate with all external technology vendors
- Communicate with all internal users on technology needs and issues
- Follow best IT security practices
- Solid knowledge in IT leading practices, methodologies processes, and control framework
- Keep up-to-date with latest trends in IT that are relevant to Cloud Cannabis goals
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science.
- Minimum of 2 years in similar role (required).
- Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Microsoft.
- 2-5 years system administration experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently with limited direct supervision
