Job description
As the fastest-growing technology platform in the cannabis space, dutchie’s team has transformed many times over in the last few years. A key to our success has been our investment in customer experience and we’re looking to add a Vendor Manager to our team to help that investment continue to evolve in lockstep with our business.
The Vendor Manager role will help us scale Dutchie’s implementation function. Implementation is responsible for making sure we configure and train clients on our products. You will manage a network of third party vendors responsible for providing a high-quality implementation experience for our customers. You will be responsible for building relationships with new vendors, defining and negotiating contract terms and rates, onboarding, and ensuring each partnership is performing according to dutchie’s high standards. You will ensure every partner representative is ready to provide an exceptional experience to our customers and are experts in dutchie’s products. You will work with the rest of the Implementation function to create and oversee processes to drive quality control and capacity planning. What You’ll Do…
- Own overall vendor management, including metric development, quality control, and workforce planning.
- Define and implement process improvements to positively impact how we execute in providing a high-quality implementation experience for our customers through our contractor partnerships.
- Qualify new partners, their training, and manage the performance of existing partnerships.
- Identify, design, develop, and execute new processes that increase efficiency, reduce errors, and decrease costs.
- Foster a customer-centric attitude, drive customer priorities and build effective customer/partner relationships
- Perform gap analysis to ensure partner advisors have tools, processes, training and are empowered to deliver expected customer experience
- Conduct weekly calls to provide updates on performance, progress, and highlight issues that need addressing with recommendations to move forward
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of all partnerships- ensure best practices are being followed, maintain hiring profiles, and alignment with dutchie’s values.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements for all personnel involved with dutchie implementations.
What You Bring...
- 3+ years of relevant experience and experience leading teams a plus
- Demonstrated experience working and excelling in operational management roles in the technology industry required;
- Strong communication skills; able to leverage other Managers and/or subject matter experts to achieve team goals; proven ability to lead teams through adversity and consistently motivate.
- Proven ability to manage third party partners, ensure they meet performance, quality standards, and overall dutchie values.
- Strong analytical skills with proven success developing performance metrics and other measurable business processes and tasks
- A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Vendor Manager
- You have a great ability to maintain composure in challenging, high-energy environments, and you help others to do the same.
- High proficiency in G-Suite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) and industry-standard Project Management software required.
- Ability to manage ambiguity and operate independentlyBright, self-starter with a growth mindset
- Bias for action; performance-driven with the confidence to operate independently
- Strong presentation skills required; training & development experience is required.
