Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Post-Harvest Cannabis Trimmers to join us on our journey to transform our bold ambitions for the Missouri medical cannabis market into a reality. Our Trimmers/Packagers will work out of our warehouse location in Rock Hill (St. Louis, MO 63144). Full-time employees will receive medical benefits, paid time off and a competitive pay range starting at $12/hour based on experience. The schedule would start as Monday-Friday 8am-4pm, with possible change to 4 10-hour days which may include weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently processes flowers during the post-production phase:
- Preparing and trimming in a quick, precise, and dexterous manner
- Maintaining high quality appearance and structural integrity of the cannabis plant
- Ensuring the least amount of waste possible is produced
- Assisting in the product transferring into the dry room
- Weighing out product accurately to prepare for packaging
- Recording data in all necessary software platforms
- Working as part of a team to meet production schedules
- Assisting in the packaging process as required.
- Ensures assigned facility area is clean and safe:
- Maintaining a clean workspace to prevent cross-contamination
- Ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High diploma or GED
- Passion for medical cannabis
- Previous hands-on experience trimming cannabis, preferably a fast trimmer with experience in a professional setting
- Ability to obtain a Missouri Agent ID by start date, which includes submitting fingerprints and passing criminal background check
- Effective time-management skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Preferred, but not required:
- Horticultural degree
- Previous professional experience trimming cannabis
- Gardening production experience, preferably in a regulated field producing for human consumption
- Manufacturing experience with an understanding of operations
- Knowledge of medical cannabis law and cannabis medicinal applications

The work environment is an environmentally controlled warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to:
Reach, bend, stoop, sit, stand, climb stairs and ladders, crawl into small spaces, walk on uneven terrain, endure extreme temperatures, manage personal exposure to numerous soil and air contaminates Carry and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
