Job description

Leafly is looking for a seasoned Sales Operations leader who has been part of high growth orgs, knows what good looks like, and is ready to do it again at a category leading brand in the cannabis space. This role will suit someone who loves building, loves solving problems, is comfortable in an ambiguous, start-up environment and is passionate about working closely with sales and marketing partners to grow a business. You have experience supporting high volume sales teams, are sought out for advice from sales leaders, are excellent at digging into data to identify insights and opportunities, and are always looking for ways to make things smarter, faster, and more automated.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted business partner to our sales and customer success leaders - proactively bringing our leaders the highest impact insights, ideas, and solutions that improve our Sales productivity
• Evaluate, improve, and manage key sales ops processes including: weekly forecasting, capacity planning, pipeline modeling, account scoring, TAM modeling, and territory planning
• Streamline and improve the internal sales process and AE/AM experience to enter, update, progress, and confirm a deal in our systems, including opportunity assessment and quoting
• Create and operationalize rules of engagement for our teams to work effectively together
• Define, build, maintain, and improve our data, analytics, and reporting foundation and provide visibility and performance tracking to the business
• Assist with all executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables (e.g., board materials, QBRs)
• Set quotas and build comp plans that are compelling yet easy to understand and execute
• Research and invest in tools that help us scale and drives the highest quantity of the highest quality activities
• Lead a team of direct reports to achieve the above objectives, and hiring, coaching and developing that team effectively

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

• You have 10+ years of work experience, with at least 5+ years prior experience in sales strategy and operations for a high growth company
• You have a track record of building high-performing teams
• You are constructive, energetic and proactive, and bring a positive attitude to all that you do
• You are highly analytical, and capable of synthesizing complex and unstructured data into insights and high-impact actions
• You’re comfortable in an ambiguous, start-up environment and are comfortable creating processes and structure from scratch
• You have high standards, and are also practical and quick to act when appropriate
• You have excellent prioritization instincts - you know we can’t do it all, and are smart and decisive about about identifying the most impactful work for your team to take on
• You have great instincts when it comes to what will work for sellers, and strive for simplicity, efficiency and automation
• You know your way around excel, Salesforce, Hubspot and Outreach, and are quick to identify and implement new and useful software tools
