Job description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to support the greater Brand, Product and Sales teams by managing the social media accounts for the Cloud Cover (consumer products), High Profile (retail), and C3 Industries brands.

In this role you will….

• Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goal
• Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. profile pictures, timeline cover)
• Manage social calendar in coordination with Creative and Retail teams, review and approve all content prior to posting
• Lead ideation and creation of day-to-day social content for all social channels driven by Retail Marketing Communications Calendar
• Develop and manage caption writing and social media engagement
• Identify actionable insights from social media reporting and incorporate changes from them into strategies/tactics
• Develop Email/SMS content to align social media posts/stories
• Assist and create digital assets for websites, digital ads and emails
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
• Suggest and implement new tactics to develop brand awareness, like promotions and sweepstakes
• Additional support across various projects for Marketing team as needed
• Participate in outreach and other dispensary and community events to support patients and customers
• Ensure all content meets brand standards and legal requirement
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and experience you have...

• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Journalism or related field preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills and understanding of social media platforms.
• Basic graphic design and photography skills.
• Ability to articulate job goals in a manner they’re completed effectively the first time.
• Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships, operate in an environment of ambiguity, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and with ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
• Ability to use good judgment in a fast-moving environment with strong desire to desire to research and implement marketing best practices.
• Thrive in a rapidly changing environment, are curious and have a passion for working in a growing Marketing team and a partnering with other internal departments and outside vendors.
• Must possess grounded business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done.
• Must be 21 years of age with the ability to pass a background check.
• Understanding / interest / passion for the cannabis industry and associated products
