Job description
Cannabis companies still have limited access to banking and payments thanks to outdated federal regulations. That’s why Eaze - the leading cannabis delivery platform -- is building seamless payment experiences across our ecosystem. Join us to create an industry-defining fintech platform and support our mission to provide universal access to cannabis.
Eaze is hiring a Senior Engineer to serve as a member of a growing payments team. You'll have the opportunity to work with talented and diverse software, security, and infrastructure engineers to drive the vision, architecture and development of several industry defining products.
We are building completely new fintech platforms and products for the cannabis space. This is a great chance to leverage your passion and background in fintech or payments to be a subject matter expert for difference-making products.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and architecting of secure systems that support the creation, transfer, and storage of digital assets & payments.
- Evaluate and integrate with various internal and external wallet & payment systems.
- Build out well-tested backend systems for serving our core product features.
- Shepherd products from designs and specifications to live deployments.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Legal & to create the best end-user payment experience in cannabis.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ambition and experience to lead and participate in the development of brand-new products.
- Growth mindset, resourcefulness, and curiosity to adapt to fast-changing conditions.
- Strong full-stack engineering background. Ability to write high quality, well-tested code.
- Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Rust, or C# (C sharp) are helpful but not required.
- Passion and interest in fintech and payments.
